Get moving, have fun, and make friends with your fitness benefits! Most of our Medicare Advantage plans include fitness benefits. This means you can join a gym or take fitness classes at no cost to you.

Join a Gym or Fitness Center Near You

There are over 15,000 locations to choose from. You can join a gym with exercise equipment or attend classes like yoga, strength training, aquatics, and dance. There are options for seniors of all fitness levels, from beginner to advanced.

When choosing a gym, make sure the schedule and classes work for you.

Please note, some amenities at the gym may not be included with your standard membership.

Prefer to Work Out at Home?

You can work out at home by watching exercise videos online. There are lots of fun workouts to try, like cardio, strength training, dancing, yoga, mobility, meditation, and more. There are options for all experience levels.

You don’t have to sign up ahead of time—just press play when you're ready!

Most plans also let you get workout equipment sent to your house.

Follow these steps to choose a fitness center and start your membership.

  1. Find your Fitness provider.

    We partner with fitness providers to bring you your fitness benefits. Use the list below to find your state.

    Silver Sneakers: Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinoi, Kansas, Maine, Missouri, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, South Carolina

    Silver and Fit: Arkansas, Arizona, Hawaii, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, Wisconsin

    FitOn Health: California

  2. Create an account.

    Before you use your benefits, you need to create a fitness account. Follow the website prompts to “check eligibility” and create an account. Once you have an account, you will have a fitness ID number.

    You can now start using online fitness classes. Or follow the next step to start your gym membership.

  3. Join a fitness center.

    Use the fitness provider website to find eligible locations near you. Then call or visit a fitness center and let them know you want to enroll through your fitness provider (Silver Sneakers, Silver and Fit or FitOn Health). You can find your provider in the chart above.

    You may need to provide your fitness ID. This is different from your health plan member ID. You will get this ID when you create an account with your fitness provider.
