NOTICE of New Health Plan Policies
The purpose of this letter is to inform you that WellCare of Florida is implementing the following policy for its Medicare line of business.
- Short Inpatient Hospital-Stay – CP.MP.182
The new policy addresses authorization requests for admissions that are under two days in duration and will take effect in accordance with the terms of our contractual agreement.
